How to find us

Finding us by road is easy. From the A2 behind Faversham, take the ‘Western Link’ road from the roundabout just west of Ospringe. At the end of that road, there is a T-junction, and our clubhouse is directly across the road, facing you, in the boatyard.

Coming from Faversham, go to Davington, carry on straight past the school, and after about half a mile you will reach a junction where ‘Western Link’ turns off to the left. The clubhouse is on your right at this point.

The Stagecoach Number 3 Bus – Canterbury to Sittingbourne also stops right outside.

If you’re sailing in, you can’t miss us – go all the way to the head of Oare Creek, and we are in the Youngboats building on the left, between the creek and the road. Your charts and pilot books will tell you that Oare Creek dries after half-tide – but with 1.5m draught, a spring tide and a sense of adventure, you can get to us with no problems. Follow your echo-sounder for the first part of the creek, then the last section is marked by pairs of withies which are essential to follow!

If the club’s not open, you can instead refresh yourself at “The Cafe by the Creek” which is right next door. The Castle and Three Mariners pubs in Oare village are also close by.
