We have a number of Evening Events that take place in the Clubhouse. Check the calendar for the next dates of any of these events |

Club Entertainments evening: “Fantastic”, “A great evening”, “Really enjoyable”– just some of the reactions to our Entertainments Evening at the clubhouse, where HCC member Jonathan Bloice performed with Merlin and the Rockets. Said Rear Commodore Mark Sanders: “A very special evening was had by all. Merlin and the Rockets provided us with a variety of live music from the 60’s 70’s and 80’s, and Arthur (half a boat) treated us to folk songs. “There was a great selection of food. I never realised how popular Sausage Rolls are!” |

Fitting Out & Laying Up suppers We always celebrate the beginning and end of the sailing season with club house meal. Usually scheduled for a Saturday evening, starting around 7pm. A home-cooked is prepared by volunteer members and the price has been around £10 a head in the past. But those preparing the meal must know the numbers attending – so it is essential you book. You cannot just turn up on the night. It is always a good evening as we look forward or back to the sailing season. There will always be a raffle to raise funds for the club, so if you have anything suitable please bring it along on the night. |

A Club Quiz is usually combined with a fish and chips supper. The clubhouse is generally completely filled for these events. |

AGM and Christmas Party is held each year during December. The AGM is a necessary part of the calendar which allows all members to hear what has been going on with the running of the club. Straight after that we have the annual prize-giving followed by a Christmas party: Free food, music and plenty of jollity. |
